I am so excited to announce to you all, on this joyous first day of the new year, that Paths Underground tea blends are finally here! I’ve been telling folks for the last 9 months to keep an eye out for this announcement, and I’m thrilled to finally be able so share it.
Making custom tea blends for myself and friends was one of my first introductions to herbal applications. The first thing I ever made for someone was a simple tea for a friend suffering from the flu; cayenne pepper, lemon, honey, and lemon balm. Something sparked in me when I brought her this cup of warm tea. I felt that not only was I able to give something that had some sort of medicinal assistance to her cold, but I imbued the drink with my love for her and my hope that she would feel better.
Tea has stuck with me throughout all my years of herbal exploration. It’s been the cornerstone for my understanding of different herbs, their medicinal qualities, and their energy.
About a month ago I asked in my Instagram for a vote on which tea blends we should start with. The decision was quickly made; you all needed grief support, and a way to unblock the paths before you!
So…
It is my greatest joy to share with you our two blends; Grief Support and Road Opener. Check out our website to explore each blend, or read on! The first two orders of tea will get a special free gift from our shop. All herbs used are organic.
Grief Support is made of nettle leaf, lemon balm, tulsi, motherwort, rose petals, hops, and lavender. It has a sweet, nutty smell with a bitter top note. It tastes floral, bitter, and light. I chose a mix of herbs that are protective, calming, full of love, and rejuvenating.
Grief Support is for anyone who is actively engaging in grief, whether present, anticipatory, or in the past. It is for anyone who wants to open up to their grief. It is for folks who may work with death and underworld deities and want to connect with them deeper, or leave offering. Grief Support is for anyone who needs it!
Road Opener is made of lemon balm, tulsi, elderflower, mint, lavender, skullcap, rose petal, hyssop, calendula, and hibiscus. It is very floral, with a gentle rose and tulsi lead scent. It tastes uplifting, floral, and complex. I chose a mix of herbs that help clear energy while bringing in opportunity.
Road Opener is for anyone looking to move forward in their life with a clear path ahead. It is for anyone who feels blocked, or stuck, either on a daily or semi-regular basis. For someone who needs an uplift, or wants an extra boost. It is for folks who work with trickster, fae, or otherworldly spirits, or for those who divine and need a clear mind to begin.
Being a small business is rough! We are barely a year old and are so appreciative of each and every person who has bought something from us, joined this newsletter, followed us on social media, had a chat about herbs, and every one else who we’ve come in contact with through this new venture.
